Start Time: 6:00pm every Thursday

- Yes, we will be riding in the dark! This will prompt a few guidelines:
- Lights are REQUIRED. No exceptions. You must have at least 1 working headlight & taillight (2 taillights are preferred)
- Reflective gear is required: Simple reflective leg bands work great. They are cheap, easy to put on & take off, and VERY effective. More reflective is always better & recommended
- All riders must be 18 years or older
- All riders should already have some experience riding on the road & in traffic
- All riders must be TCC (Texoma Cycling Club) members (our club insurance requires this). However, membership is affordable & easy. TCC membership is $20 annually.
- All TCC members also receive 15% discount at Nautilus Bicycle Center, on everything: bikes, parts, accessories, clothing, service...everything!
- This ride is appropriate for most riders with a road bike & minimal fitness. You should already be familiar with riding on the road and comfortable with minimal interaction with light traffic. Average speed is usually 13-14 mph. Nobody riding at or close to this target speed will get dropped, or ride alone off the back.
- It's extra important when riding at night that all riders stay together (for safety).

This is a slow 14 mile “no-drop” (meaning no one will be left behind) social ride for all levels (beginners are especially welcome). The route is a 14 mile loop with a few moderate hills that may be challenging for some first time riders. I will have loopback options for shorter distances if requested. We will ride rain or shine (but not if there is lightning …I’m not THAT crazy!).
This is a reoccurring weekly ride that is open to all riders of all levels and will continue all summer and into the fall as long as people are interested in riding. The only requirement is a bike and a helmet. If you would like to join us please just show up. Wheels roll at 5:30 pm.
